Owning land can be a 2 edged sword.  On the one hand it is a great feeling to own a piece of the earth that you can call home, or a place you can just go to relax, or to have as your bug out option.  I, for one, am a land nut.  I love the outdoors and I love owning property that I can do with what I want (mostly)!  It is part of the American dream to own a piece of dirt to build on or develop into what you envision.
